Manitoba Black Bear hunting has proven to be some of the best bear hunting in North America. Our Black bear hunting in Manitoba takes place on the fringe of Riding Mountain National Park, a fantastic national park that holds great game. The surrounding area of the Riding Mountain National park is packed with agricultural fields including oat fields which are a main food supply for these bears. This is why this area produces some of the biggest Black Bears in Manitoba and unique color phases. We have even harvested a "white bear" at our camp. Manitoba spring black bear hunting is a great time to harvest a bear in its prime for fur. Manitoba fall black bear hunting is a perfect time to harvest a larger bear that is putting on weight in preparation of hibernation. Our Black Bear hunts are done over active bait sites that have been active for over 10 years; we utilize 50 gallon drums hanging off fresh bait to assist with sizing up the bears. Last season we acquired even more areas to hunt which have not been hunted and proved to be over crowded with bears. Black bear hunting does require some patience as you will be presented with many opportunities. Black bear are easily the most misjudged animals and we will give you plenty of guidance on how to look for that mature bear. |

Our typical day of bear hunting starts with sleeping in, followed by a hot breakfast. After breakfast you can spend the afternoon fishing for walleye or northern pike while we check and refill bait sites. This is also a good time to be with your guide to check out sites and possibly catch a bear on site. Following that we will prepare a packed lunch and take you to your active site for the evening hunt. We provide each hunter with a radio for communication with your guide. Following your evening hunt we will gather for a late dinner, you will gain weight with this cooking. Your hunt includes:
