BE PHYSICALLY PREPARED: The better physical condition you are in the
better your hunting experience will be.

Manitoba weather can be diverse to say the least. Spring hunt
can be warm. Fall ranges from pleasant days to below zero with
occasional snowfalls. Manitoba winters can be severe, sub-zero
temperatures, typical conditions are near or below freezing but
above zero with plentiful snowfall. Dressing in layers (including long
underwear) is the best way to combat the cold. We provide
heated blinds and radio communications.

Be sure your boots are broke in prior to beginning your
hunt.

Mole Skin is a great item to keep in your First-Aid-Kit
to help keep sore feet from stopping your hunt.

ARCHERY
HUNTERS: Be practiced up on shots from many different
shooting positions and angles, from 20-50 yards for the best
chance at bagging your priced trophy.

RIFLE
HUNTERS: for bear hunting shots are no farther that 60
yards. For whitetail hunters you should be able to shoot 200-300 yards for the best chance at
bagging your trophy animal. Also, be familiar with your
bullets and bring extra.
