New Mexico Cougar hunting can be some of the most exciting and challenging hunting in North America and if you have never hunted lions with hounds, you are in for a great adventure.

Our New Mexico Mountain Lion hunting season begins on October 1st and runs through March 31st or until harvest limits have been met. The area we hunt consists of a large amount of National Forest, BLM (Bureau of Land Management), and bordering wilderness areas. This allows us a hunt an excellent population of trophy class Lions year after year. We have one of the best packs of proven lion dogs in the southwest.

Our New Mexico Cougar hunting is conducted on horseback and foot and can be quite physical, but make no mistake there is nothing more exciting then hearing the hounds discovering a fresh track and following them to your cat they've bayed in a tree.

In New Mexico, Mountain Lion can be taken with any legal sporting weapon and our guides will put you in the right situation to take your trophy. This is a seven day hunt and accommodations will include motel stay with lunch and dinner being provided.

2012 New Mexico Mountain Lion hunt cost: $4500 plus 5.75% sales tax

Mountain Lion hunting in New Mexico:

7 full days of hunting (most outfitters allow 5 - 6 days)
(October 1st - March 31st or until harvest limits have been met)

All hunts require 50% deposit to reserve spot. Deposits are non refundable, balance due on arrival. We accept money order, certified checks or if you prefer credit card we will require a 3% service charge.
